2. The ink has good trafficability. As the screen printing is based on the principle of omission printing, the ink must have good permeability to get a better impression. At the same time, the screen printing cloth should be smooth and free of fuzz.
3. Good wear resistance. Screen printing uses a doctor blade to scrape the ink on the screen so as to penetrate into the substrate. Therefore, the screen cloth is subject to greater friction during the printing process. If the abrasion resistance of the screen is poor, it is easy to be damaged and fuzzed, which affects the printing quality.
4. Good chemical resistance. In screen printing, acid, alkali and many organic solutions are used in the process of plate making and printing. In order to reduce their impact on screen strength, the screen cloth should have sufficient chemical resistance.
5. High tensile strength. Tensile strength refers to the ability of the wire mesh to resist fracture under tension. High tensile strength, silk screen fabric tensile resistance, high tension can be used when stretching the screen.
6. Good resilience. Resilience refers to the ability of silk screen cloth to return to its original state after stretching. The better the resilience, the clearer the edge of the imprint. However, the large resilience means that the deformation of the screen cloth is also large, which will affect the printing accuracy to a certain extent. Therefore, according to the requirements of screen printing, choose the screen with appropriate resilience.
7. The elongation is small. Elongation refers to the ratio of the elongation of the wire mesh to the original length under a certain tension. If the elongation is large, the stability of the plane is poor, and the imprint is easy to deform. Of course, if the elongation is too small, it is not conducive to printing.
